Ancient Coins and Gandhara: workshop in Ashmolean Museum, 2nd June 2017 - webcast via Facebook Live
Dr Shailendra Bhandare will be conducting a special workshop for Gandhara Connections in the Ashmolean Museum, 2-3.30 pm (British Summer Time) on Friday 2nd June, 2017: 'Ancient Coins and Gandhara'. The workshop is intended to offer a hands-on introduction to Kushan coinage and other coin traditions important for understanding the art and history of Gandhara.
The limited places are now booked up, but we will be webcasting and recording the event using Facebook live! The webcast will give a rough-and-ready experience of the workshop for those who can't join us in person. Please visit our Gandhara Connections Facebook page on that day.
