New CARC book: Masterpieces in Miniature by John Boardman and Claudia Wagner

The Classical Art Research Centre's latest publication of Graeco-Roman gems is hot off the press! It officially appears 1st March and is available for pre-order from IB Tauris, Amazon, and all good retailers.

Masterpieces in Miniature: Engraved Gems from Prehistory to the Present is a lavishly illustrated catalogue of a major European private collection formed in the earlier twentieth century. It includes outstanding engraved gems dispersed from eighteenth century collections, and many pieces never before documented. The book can already be consulted in the Classical Art Research Centre's study-room in Oxford.
