Gold finger ring.

Two heroes wearing kilts with pendants attached stand back to back fighting two lions; one hero raises his sword, the other thrusts from below. Below, trees, and circles signifying rocks.

This was said to be from Thessaly or Thessalonike, bought by Danicourt at the sale of the de Gobineau collection in 1882, having been remarked and published in drawing in 1874. It is therefore the earliest recorded Mycenaean gold ring after the Burgon ring in London.. Work of the same engraver can be traced in rings from the Acropolis Treasure at Mycenae, 15th century BC (LHII).
