Palladion

Gem impression. Lewes House Gems No. 57.A statue of Athena (Pallas Athena) of a primitive block-like form. The most famous was that at Troy, which was stolen by Odysseus and Diomedes (sometimes shown with two palladia), and subsequently said to have been taken to the west. The term is often applied to other Athena statues.
